Is there a free shuttle at the airport to take you to Disney Aulani Resort for Free or a low price in Hawaii

    Aloha, Shelly!

Welcome to planDisney and mahalo for stopping by with your question. How exciting that your tropical Hawaiian vacation with the added magic of Disney is just on the horizon. There is no place I'd rather be than riding the Hawaiian roller coaster ride at Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa, Shelly. Our family has been to Aulani three times, most recently in August.  I am happy to share with you transportation options from the airport to the Resort.

Shelly,  Aulani is about 45 minutes from the airport. There are a few transportation options for getting to the Resort, including rental cars, shuttles, taxis and ride shares, and public transportation.   Our family usually rents a car, as we like to have the flexibility to come and go as we like.  But there are a few other transportation options for you to look into.

Aulani recommends the Hele Hele Shuttle and it can be booked right from the Aulani website.  They also recommend Platinum Limousine Service which can also be booked from the Aulani website. Alternatively, you can take a taxi or ride share from the airport to Aulani and back. When it comes to getting from Aulani to other locations, there is a shuttle from the Resort that will take you to a few nearby locations including shopping centers.  But there is not a free shuttle from the airport to Aulani.  All of the options are fee-based.

If you want to go on any of the island excursions during your vacation, those can be booked with the Holoholo Desk and many of them include transportation.  I would call sooner rather than later as these excursions do book up and some run only on certain days.  These can be booked right through the Aulani website but if you don't find reservations for excursions or the KA WA'A Luau, give the Holoholo Desk a call as often they can find reservations for you that are not available online.

I hope this helps you, Shelly! If you have any further questions, what can I say except you're welcome to surf back here to planDisney and I'll be happy to help you.

    Aloha,
    Keri
