Hello Sarah, and welcome to
planDisney!
You must be so excited that your
magical holiday is right around the corner. Let's talk about using your
dining plan when traveling with a young Mouseketeer.
At
Casey's Corner and any other restaurant without a designated kid's menu, your child can select any item from the regular menu and still use dining plan credits. There are a variety of hot dog toppings here, like pulled pork and chili, but I prefer the standard all-beef hot dog or mini corn dogs when stopping by this Main Street U.S.A. landmark. My family likes to share an order or two of mini corn dogs and enjoy them while waiting for
Happily Ever After to begin.
To ensure you redeem your child's dining plan, you can either place your order in person and let the Cast Member know how you would like to use your credits or use
Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering. On the
My Disney Experience mobile app, you should see an option to modify your order on the review screen after selecting your meals. Click modify, then tap "change dining plan options." Here, you should be able to choose a child dining plan credit for your meal if it defaulted to adult.
I hope this is helpful, Sarah. Since you'll be visiting during the
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival, sampling items at the global marketplaces is a great way to use dining plan snack credits. Follow the
Disney Parks Blog as this year's event approaches so you can preview offerings and make a list of must-try treats. I'm looking forward to Emile's Fromage Montage, as this cheesy quest provided some of my favorite selections last year. Fingers crossed that the Brazilian cheese bread and Indian fried paneer make an appearance again!
Thanks for sending your question to planDisney, Sarah. If there is anything else we can do to help make your holiday even more memorable, please write back to us. It would be our pleasure to assist you. Best wishes for a delightfully delicious getaway, and have a magical day!
Cheers,
Betsy
