Is there still free parking downtown Disney? Can we get free transportation to magic kingdom and animal kingdom from there?

    Hi Nanci,

I have some big news for you: Downtown Disney is now officially known as Disney Springs! The entire area was re-imagined in a BIG way and officially reopened to Guests in September 2015. While you will still find many of your favorite shops, like World of Disney, Tren-D, and Basin, there are now many, many more, including a few of my personal favorites; Anthropologie, Lilly Pulitzer, and Kate Spade New York. Plus, there are a ton of new dining experiences to tempt your taste buds; everything from The Boathouse, Morimoto Asia, D-Luxe Burger and Sprinkles Cupcakes.

While self-parking is complimentary in all of the surface parking lots and garages at Disney Springs, unfortunately there is no complimentary Disney bus transportation from Disney Springs to any of the four Disney theme parks or water parks. There is, however, Disney Springs bus transportation available which provides service to all Disney Resort hotels.

I hope this helps with your vacation planning. If we can be of any further assistance, please let us know. We would love to hEAR from you!
