Got free 6 nt ddp thinking of upgrading to dddp would be 700 more as our 10yr old is charged as adult we have 3 kids that love to snack through day and thinking of doing some dinner shows and CRT Is it worth it or too much $ and time away from parks?

    Hi, Ben!

If you are planning to do a lot of eating, including 2 credit dinner shows and signature dining, you might find the upgrade is worth it.  However, if you just plan on a few 2 credit experiences, then I would stick to the base dining plan that comes free with your package.

Before you do the upgrade, hop online to get your Advance Dining Reservations.  After booking everything, look at your list and evaluate if you are better off paying out of pocket for a few meals.   The Deluxe Plan is a lot of food, plus you also need to factor in the time you will spend eating. I know my kids are OK with a few leisurely table service meals, but more than one a day is pushing it! They want to get to all the attractions!

Do your reservations, do the math, and remember that $700 can pay for quite a few extra snacks for your kids!  Good luck deciding.

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
