Greetings, Aspen, and welcome to planDisney! I highly recommend making time to explore the
lounges of the ship during your cruise. Each ship has its own mix of specialty areas, with fun themes, onboard activities, live music, and more to discover! Just take a look at the
immersive lounges on the Disney Treasure – they are all so unique.
Now, let's talk about drinks. Typically, beer, wine, cocktails, bottled water, and non-alcoholic beverages served in bars and lounges are available for an added cost. I remember enjoying delicious mocktails and soda with my friends at the various lounges on the
Disney Wish. I also adore the Character art lattes from
Cove Café, an adults-only lounge with a cozy vibe. I paid for the beverages in these instances.
Soft drinks are, however, available at no extra cost in the main dining rooms and from beverage stations on board the ships (usually on the deck and in quick-service locations like
Cabanas and
Marceline Market). You can even bring a refillable mug or tumbler, fill it up with soda at one of these stations, and take it with you to other areas of the ship. I even got some soda from the beverage station and combined it with some ice cream for a float!
Sometimes, the lounges host different activities like trivia, arts and crafts, and more. Be sure to download the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App before you sail. Once on board and connected to the ship’s Wi-Fi, you’ll be able to see when and where all the activities are happening.
Aspen, I hope you have a fantastic time sailing with Disney Cruise Line! If you think of any more questions, please reach out – we're always happy to help here at planDisney!
Your pal,
Kriss
