Happy Day Katelyn!
Thanks for spending part of your magical day with planDisney! When it comes to maximizing your time in the theme parks, Lightning Lane Multi Pass is a great way to do just that! And like Buzz Lightyear says, when we have a friend in need, planDisney will not rest until you’re safe in Andy’s room or in this case with an answer to your question!
The Walt Disney World resort does not offer a free
Lightning Lane to its guests, but it does allow resort guests to be first in line to book their passes seven days in advance! Pass bookings open at 7am EST, so be ready to book your Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Single Pass seven days before your arrival at 7am!
You can purchase Lightning Lane Passes in the My Disney Experience app by going to the triple line button in the lower right corner and selecting Lightning Lane Passes. You’ll have three options, Multi Pass, Single Pass, and Premier Pass.
Multi Pass lets you preselect three Lightning Lane attractions with specific return times, and then you can book another attraction after you scan into your first attraction of the day, based on availability. You’ll be able to repeat this throughout the day! Plus, if you have a park hopper ticket you can use Multi Pass in more than one theme park on the same day!
Lightning Lane Single Pass is for rides that aren’t included on the Multi Pass. You’ll choose an attraction and a return time and head to the line at the time that you pick.
The
Lightning Lane Premier Pass is the most flexible since it offers a one-time entry to all Lightning Lane attractions during regular theme park hours. No return times, just enjoy as many rides as you would like at the specific park that you select!
We recently used the Multi Pass for Disney’s Hollywood Studios when my daughter and her boyfriend visited us from Japan for his first trip to Walt Disney World. We were able to ride all the rides, see all the sights, enjoy a few Mickey Bars and cap the night off with the always stunning
Fantasmic!
Katelyn I hope your trip is Fantasmic! Thanks for stopping by planDisney!
