Am I free to use the jpegs from the photopass CD to make photobooks at a site outside of the Disney site. I am trying to decide whether to purchase the package that includes the CD and the photo book or just get the CD.

    Hi Kathy!!!

We love getting Disney's PhotoPass CD when we return from our Walt Disney World Vacations!!

Once you purchase the PhotoPass CD you are given the rights to the photos from Disney which will allow you to use the pictures as you wish.  We have used some of our PhotoPass CD photos as Christmas Cards over the year.

When you receive your CD there will be a jpeg of the Copyright Release Form that will outline what you can use the photos for.  Mainly, you cannot use the photos for commercial use.  Other than that, you are free to use the photos as you wish.  I have always printed the Copyright Release Form and taken it with me to pick up any photos I have order just in case the store has needed it.

So I would recommend just getting the PhotoPass CD and not the photobook they do.  You will be able to make your own photobook when you get home.

I hope this helps and that you have a magical day!!
