    Are free fast passes still available and if they are then how can i select the rides for those?

    Welcome to planDisney, and thanks for stopping by with your question for us. 

    Although the FastPass+ service has been discontinued, Guests can purchase the Disney Genie+ service, which gives them entrance to the Lightning Lane queues, one selection at a time.

    I'm happy to discuss this service with you, along with the Disney Genie service, which is complimentary, and the Individual Lightning Lane (ILL) selections, which are also an additional fee. 

    The Disney Genie service is complementary and is available to Guests through the My Disney Experience Mobile app. Guests can input their preferences, and the service will create their ideal itinerary. It also shows predicted wait times for attractions throughout the day! To set up this service, simply open up your My Disney Experience Mobile app, tap on the three horizontal lines located on the bottom right, and select "My Genie Day" to begin customizing your preferences.

    The Disney Genie+ service works similarly to the FastPass+ service, except for an additional fee. It allows Guests to choose from select Lightning Lane entrances, one at a time, at the parks. Starting at 7 AM on the day of their visit, Guests can make their party's first Disney Genie+ selection through the My Disney Experience Mobile app. Then, after tapping through the first attraction's queue, or after 2 hours from making your Disney Genie+ selection, whichever comes first, Guests can make their following selection.

    To add the Disney Genie+ service to your existing tickets, please follow these steps:
    -Open up your My Disney Experience Mobile app
    -Tap on the three horizontal lines in the bottom right corner
    -Click on "My Genie Day"
    -Select "Get Disney Genie+ Service" in purple
    -Once you have read through the description of Disney Genie+, please select "Get Disney Genie+ Service."
    -Select the members of your party you would like to purchase the service for
    -Once you have reviewed the details, please continue to confirm your purchase

    Before 7:00 AM EST, I recommend having your My Disney Experience Mobile app pulled up and ready to make your first selection. You will want to tap on the three horizontal lines in the bottom right corner and choose My Genie Day. Next, select the "Tip Board," and under that, you will be prompted to book an experience from a list that shows wait times of attractions available for you to choose from. If you are here before 7 AM, pull down on this page to refresh it as soon as the clock strikes 7 AM to begin making your selection. After you've confirmed the selection, it will appear under your "My Day" page.

    The Individual Lightning Lane Entrances are another additional purchase; Guests can add these with or without having purchased the Disney Genie+ service and choose up to two ILL selections a day. These are the attractions that are in high demand. Guests can purchase these beginning at 7 AM EST if they are staying at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel or park opening if they are not staying on property.
