Free DP, staying at POFQ 9 nights. Can I make 14 TS ADR's on the hotel res and pay for the 5 extra meals? Deluxe is too much food for the upgrade cost. Also looking for the current menu prices, or is allears usually correct?

    Hi, Christina!

Let me start by saying I am super jealous of your vacation!  A wonderful 9 night stay at French Quarter sounds perfect.

Your plan to just pay for the few extra meals is a great idea.  Use your dining credits for the more expensive meals (character dinner buffets) and pay out of pocket for the less expensive lunch reservations (maybe just getting a sandwich at The Plaza Restaurant for example).    While prices are always subject to change, the menus at the independent website AllEars.net are usually pretty close.  Their information will at least give you a very good ballpark figure so you will know which meals to pay for and which to use your dining credits for.

Have a great time at French Quarter, and make sure to use one of your snack credits for freshly made Beignets at the bakery!  Enjoy!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is sailing with Disney Cruise Line, running (or cheering!) at runDisney events, taking hula lessons at Aulani, or vacationing at the Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. I am proud to be a part of the planDisney team and cannot wait to share my tips and advice for a magical vacation
