Free dining starts Aug 19th.We are going from the 19th to the 28th and have it already. We wanted to go from the 18th to the 28th.Would they give us the extra day since we are there 9 days it is offered or can we go the 18th and pay for just the 1st day?

    Hi Chris!

Your question brought back so many memories for me!  I encountered the exact same situation a few years ago, so I can tell ya just what to do.  Since Free dining BEGINS on the 19th, you cannot take advantage of it until that exact date.  On the flip side, if it had ended in the middle of your stay, you could have taken advantage of it the whole time.  It doesn't make much sense, but hey, I don't make the rules!

Sooo, just book your first night as a "room only" reservation and tell the cast member that you have a package that is set to begin on the following day.  Ask them to specify that it is a "continuing reservation" and this will better your chances of staying in the same room for that first night as the rest of your vacation.  Sorry that this is a little complicated, but trust me, free dining is worth it!
