    How does the FREE dining plan work? I always get the dining plan that offers half quick and half sit down meals. If you book with the free dining plan what plan do you get? Thanks

    Thanks for visiting us today at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I see you are busy planning a vacation for next September. It is a great time to visit and enjoy some amazing meals during Epcot International Food & Wine Festival.

    My family enjoys the Disney Dining Plans since it let us prepay for our meals and not have to worry about budgets. And if we are can take advantage of a Free Dining Plan, even better! Mickey tries to save us Disney Dollars with amazing Special Offers, and in years past has offered one of the Disney Dining Plans free of charge, when book a Magic Your Way Vacation Package at select Disney Resort Hotels.The offer varies depending on the type of Resort hotel you book, but usually you can upgrade the Dining Plan.

    Of course, only Mickey knows what he will have in store for us in the future. My suggestion is to book a package and if an offer happens to come out, simply talk to a Vacation Planning Specialist at (407) 939-1936 or your Travel Agent. They should be able to add the offer to your reservation, if the dates fall within the offer. Note that you may need to adjust your dates or Resort dates.

    One last tip: remember you can book advanced dining reservations up to 180 days. Simply visit the Walt Disney World restaurants and reservations page. Happy planning!
