We have free dining in Nov with 5 adults 3 kids (B3,B3,G6). Trying to figure out where to have dinner on our off day. Staying at POR, so DTD would be the easiest- TRex or Raglan Road-thoughts? Also thinking about Ohana, not as east to get to, but more fun?

Hello Cynthia!  High 5 for landing Free Dining, it is a great promotion!  I am a huge fan of the Disney Dining Plan, we purchase it each trip we take to Walt Disney World.

Your kids would love dining at T-REX, I have a 7 year old daughter who requests it each time we visit Walt Disney World.  I really like the food, I've ordered several different menu items and have been pleasantly surprised each time.  About every 20 minutes, there is a prehistoric meteor shower that goes off in the dining room.  It's loud and we've always enjoyed it.  I know some children can be frightened by it but it has never bothered my daughter.

If you can manage getting into dinner at 'Ohana, do it!  It is by far our favorite restaurant on all of Walt Disney World property.  The food is all-you-care-to-enjoy served right to your table and it is delicious. During your meal, your kids will enjoy coconut races, the limbo and maybe even learn to hula.  It is an all around A+ meal.

I hope you have a great trip, it will be here before you know it.  If I can help you with anything else, please let me know.  Have a magical day.

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
