We have the free DDP. We normally take travellers cheques to Florida as you can use them like cash. Will we be able to pay for the tips for the DDP meals in travellers cheques and still receive change in the normal way?

    Hi Carol,

I have not carried travellers cheques in forever. I remember fondly going to get them before any trip years ago. It meant you were leaving in a day or two for vacation!

You should have no problem using travellers cheques to pay for the gratuities at your meals and receive change back.

Another option you might like to use is to do what I do. I charge everything on my Key to the World room key. I then pay the bill the night before check out. I do this with my Disney Reward card as well as Disney dollars I may have. It avoids me losing them in the park and it makes it easier for me. You could do the same with the travellers cheques as well.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
