hi have the free D.D if my dd age 11 doesn't like whats on the adults menu can she have a kids meal instead i.e she wants to go to Rainforest cafe she has lots of allergies and is a fussy eater i want a relax holiday not worry about her food

    Hi Sandra!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel! My son has multiple food allergies, so I know how stressful it can be to make sure your little one can eat safe meals that they enjoy while on vacation. In our experience, the Chefs and Cast Members at Walt Disney World Resort have always done a fantastic job at making sure my son can enjoy a meal while accommodating his allergens. Adults and big kids can always choose to enjoy items from the kids meal. Generally, she will receive a larger portion of the meal utilizing her adult dining entitlement. For most Guests, I would recommend that they speak to their server about their interest in an option from the kids meal for their entree, but since your daughter has allergies I would recommend some additional preparation before your trip to make your vacation a bit easier.

Since your daughter has allergies, I recommend you add those allergies to your dining reservations either when you make your dining reservations online or by calling (407) WDW-DINE or (407) 939-3463. Depending on your daughter's allergies, you may want to contact the Special Diets Team by emailing Special.Diets@DisneyWorld.com as they can help you with information about accommodating your daughter's specific allergies and help you with preparation for your trip. When you get to your restaurant, be sure to remind your server about your daughter's allergies and ask to speak to the Chef so that he or she can help you and your daughter find something that she would like to eat that she can enjoy safely!

Please let me know if you have any other questions as you continue to plan your trip to the most magical place on Earth. T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
