Hi there, Colleen! Welcome to planDisney!
Oh my Mickey ice cream bars, you're at the Walt Disney World Resort right now! I hope you're having the best time! You still have plenty of magic to get to before it's time to head home, but let's make sure you have your testing plans all set so you don't have to worry about a thing. Local pharmacies like CVS or Walgreens provide free testing, although I'm not sure if that extends to residents of Canada. You can do an internet search to find the closest locations and give them a call for more information. If you don't have a car, the nearest CVS is just a short Uber or Lyft ride away.
Another resource available for Guests of the Walt Disney World Resort is AdventHealth. They don't offer testing on property, but there are a couple of AdventHealth Centra Care locations not far away that do Covid tests onsite. You can call AdventHealth at (407) 939-7480 between 7 a.m. and 11 p.m. ET and speak to a health professional who can walk through your options with you.
There is also a testing center operated by AdventHealth inside the Orlando International Airport, which you may find most convenient. The tests here can be fairly costly, however, with current prices listed as $175 for a Rapid RT-PCR test and $65 for a Rapid antigen test. If you search "Covid testing Orlando International Airport," you'll get a link to the page with all of the details.
Colleen, I hope this info helps set your mind at ease. You have lots of options for getting those tests, so all you need to do is relax and enjoy your vacation! Thank you so much for stopping by to see us, and I wish you faith, trust, and pixie dust!
Keep Disney Dreaming,
Kathy K.
