Hey there, Jessie!
Thank you for visiting planDisney! I am delighted to answer your great question and I hope you will consider making that reservation after all.
Normally, cancellation fees may apply to
Disney Resort hotel or vacation package cancellations. However, during the
phased reopening of Walt Disney World Resort, flexible cancellation policies for arrivals through April 30, 2021 have been implemented. We understand what a big decision planning a vacation during these unprecedented times is!
As part of this “book with confidence” policy, Walt Disney World is currently waiving Disney-imposed change and cancellation fees up to the date of check-in for reservations with arrivals through April 30, 2021. Presently, we do not know if this date will be further extended, but I encourage you to keep your eyes and EARS peeled to the
Disney Parks Blog for future updates.
Depending on the type of reservation in your My Disney Experience account, you will either be able to cancel the reservation online or you will need to call the Disney Reservation Center for assistance.
To check if you can cancel your reservation online, please
sign in to your My Disney Experience account and
visit the “My Reservations” section. Find the reservation you wish to cancel and click “cancel reservation.” If you do not see the “cancel reservation” link, then you cannot cancel it yourself.
If you are unable to cancel your reservation online, you can speak to a friendly Cast Member at the Disney Reservation Center by calling 407-939-1936.
If you have any additional questions, please visit planDisney again. We are always hEAR to help you.
