Do you still get in free on your birthday?

Hey there, Kim. Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. I see that your trip is quickly approaching. I bet you are getting so excited!

I love celebrating a birthday at Walt Disney World. In fact, it's been the place where my family has celebrated all of those major milestones over the years. Back in 2009, Walt Disney World ran a promotion called "What Will You Celebrate", where Guests were able to get free admission on their birthdays. That offer expired at the end of that year and hasn't been offered since.

If you are planning to be at Walt Disney World for a birthday, be sure to stop by Guest Relations at any Walt Disney World Theme Park or at the front desk of any Walt Disney World Resort Hotel to pick up a complimentary "I'm Celebrating Button". Cast Members and other Guests alike will go out of their way to wish you (or whoever is wearing it) a very happy birthday! It definitely will put a smile on your face. If you've made advanced dining reservations for a birthday meal, be sure to make a note of your celebration on your reservation and mention it again when you check-in at the restaurant. Often times you'll be surprised with a sweet treat at the end of your meal, candles and maybe even a song. It's a fun way to celebrate.

Walt Disney World Cast Members really do go out of their way to make a birthday feel really special. Even though you won't be getting in for free, it will still be a day to remember always. I hope this helps answer your question. If you have any others before your trip, please feel free to come back and ask me. Enjoy!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
