Can you get the free appetizer with a Fantasmic Lunch Reservation? or is it just at dinner?

    Hi, again, Althea!

    Great question!

When Guests "pay for" their Fantasmic! Dinner Package using their Disney Dining Plan Table Service meal entitlements (got that?) they are entitled to one free appetizer per adult, regardless of whether this is during the lunch or dinner hour. Even though it's called "Dinner Package," there will be times that are offered to Guests during lunch hours, but the menu is the same for both lunch and dinner. (That's just fine with us; we'll devour their delicious Crispy Calamari or Fresh Mozzarella and Vine-ripened Tomatoes appetizers at any hour...and I mean that literally.)

Just remember that this is a perk that has been offered for years at Mama Melrose's Ristorante Italiano, but it is one that is not listed anywhere on the Fantasmic! Dinner Package information or even on the Disney Dining Plan PDF.  It's simply something that's offered to Guests under the circumstances described above, but is subject to change at any time.

Enjoy every delicious bite of your meal at Mama Melrose's, Althea. I am so jealous of whatever you order. (No, seriously, I am experiencing a severe case of food envy. So. Very. Good.)

Send more questions, too, as you think of them. You know we love to help!
