Greetings Calla!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. How exciting you will be
celebrating a birthday at the Happiest Place on Earth! While free admission is not offered on your birthday, there are still many ways to make your vacation extra special. Stop by City Hall in Disneyland Park to pick up your complimentary Birthday Button. Wear it proudly and you may receive some birthday greetings from Cast Members and Characters throughout your vacation. Another fun way to celebrate a birthday is with a unique dining experience such as a
Disney Character Meal. These offer all-you-care-to-enjoy feasts while meeting and greeting many Disney Characters. My favorite Character meal is at
Storytellers Cafe in Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa for its farmers market buffet and relaxed setting.
When entering the park with children under three years old, you will not need to show any proof of their age at the gate. If the Cast Member asks, you can let them know your child is under three. My son had so much fun before he turned three at the Disneyland Resort. Since little ones can ride on any
attraction that does not have a height requirement, there are so many ways they can enjoy their time in the parks. My son's favorites were Dumbo the Flying Elephant, Peter Pan's Flight, and Pirates of the Caribbean to name a few.
I hope this helps, and I wish you all a very merry un-birthday!
