Do you still get in free on your actual birthday at Magic Kingdom, Walt Disney World?

    Hi Felicia,

Walt Disney World is a perfect place for a birthday celebration, no matter your age. In 2009, as part of the "What Will You Celebrate" promotion, Walt Disney World offered free admission for guests on their birthdays. That offer ended on December 31, 2009, but it may have been one of the most popular promotions ever at Disney because so many people remember it and hope it is still in effect.

If you plan to visit on your birthday or the birthday of a family member, make sure you pick up a free Happy Birthday button from any Guest Relations location. When you wear the button, you'll get lots of good wishes from cast members and other guests. And, occasionally, you'll receive some special magic.

My husband and I celebrated our 30th anniversary at Walt Disney World last week and picked up Happy Anniversary buttons. We found ourselves seated at dinner at a table next to another couple celebrating their 30th, and the restaurant treated both couples to a special anniversary dessert.

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Felicia. Please let us know if you have any other questions about planning a visit for a birthday or other special occasion. We're always here to help.
