Hi Chris!
Thank you for stopping by planDisney with your question.
When planning a vacation, my husband and I always make sure to check and see if there are any discounts or special rates offered that we can take advantage of. I am not aware if Florida Power & Light Company (FPL) has any programs in place to offer employees discounted tickets to Walt Disney World Resort's theme parks, but it is certainly an avenue you can inquire about within your workplace.
What I'm excited to tell you is that there IS a
discounted ticket option available to Florida residents that will become available for purchase this Friday, January 11th, 2024. What a great way to celebrate the New Year! The
Florida Resident Disney Thrills Ticket is a Walt Disney World theme park ticket that will be valid any day from January 11 through March 15, 2024, with no blockout dates. The multi-day tickets can be used on non-consecutive days if needed.
Pricing for the Florida Resident Disney Thrills Ticket will be $199 plus tax for a 2-day ticket and $219 plus tax for a 3-day. Guests will have the option to add on the
Park Hopper option for $40 (plus tax), the Water Parks & Sports option for $35 (plus tax), or the Park Hopper Plus for $55 (plus tax). To qualify for these specially-priced tickets, proof of Florida residency and
Theme Park Reservations will be required.
I hope this helps with planning and budgeting for your upcoming visit.
Have a magical day!
Diane W.
