We have a FP for Pirates of the Caribbean that starts at 6:50. But we also have the garden dessert party booked. If we get to the Pirates ride for 6:50 will that leave us enough time to enjoy the desserts before the fireworks?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Ramona! I love the night events at Magic Kingdom. They are perfect to cap off a evening in VIP style, with a special viewing area and decadent themed snacks that will have you raving!

The Fireworks Dessert Parties typically have you check in about 75 minutes before showtime, so depending on what time that falls, you should be able to check in and then slip off straight to Pirates of the Caribbean for a perfectly-on-time 6:50 boat ride on the Seven Seas. I can’t say I’ve ever waited more than about 15-20 minutes in a FP+ line before, and with a quick, enjoyable ride, you should have plenty of time to make your way back to the Garden area for the show. Of course, if you feel like you can’t make the back and forth through Adventureland, you can reschedule your FastPass+ reservation via My Disney Experience Mobile App at any time, even after your ride window has passed. You can always fill the time between check in with a quick window stop for Sorcerer’s of the Magic Kingdom… Merlin needs all the help he can get!

If I can give you more advice on your upcoming vacation, please let me know. And I hope you enjoy your viewing of Happily Ever After. It’s sure to be the name of your trip! ~ Lindsey P.
