Ahoy, Andrea! We appreciate you visiting planDisney with your questions.
Firstly, a big Happy Birthday to your little one! Make sure you
note his birthday on your reservation by signing in to your Disney account and navigating to My Reservations. Under Special Requests, select Celebrations to note his special day. Stop by Guest Services to pick up a "Happy Birthday" button for him to proudly wear throughout the cruise.
I remember dropping my son off for the first time at
Disney’s Oceaneer Club. I was so nervous I checked on him hourly, but to my delight, he was engaged and did not want to be picked up. I had nothing to worry about. The dedicated counselors do a great job of creating a safe and welcoming environment.
Initially, we limited drop-offs to scheduled activities. During lunch on embarkation day, peruse the Daily Activity Schedule in the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app. You can favorite the activities that catch his eye.
I also recommend visiting the youth spaces during Open House hours. You can explore the imaginative spaces together before secured programming begins. When visiting the club for the first time, a youth counselor will review the information you provided during online check-in. This is a great time to let them know about any allergies or concerns you may have.
A Disney Cruise is the perfect family vacation because there are
plenty of activities for all ages. My family likes the craft sessions, meeting the characters, learning to draw our favorite Disney pals, and trying to win at trivia. Oh, and I can’t forget the onboard movies, deck parties, and evening shows. I guarantee everyone will have a great time!
Please stop by and see us again. We are happy to share our advice and experiences with you.
SEAS the adventure!
