Hey Victor,
Welcome to planDisney! I’m excited to hear you’ll be visiting Walt Disney World for a fourth time soon! I love that you’re interested in sharing something that you enjoy with the characters. It sounds like you want to share some of your own magic during vacation!
As a safety precaution, Cast Members and characters cannot accept gifts from guests. The characters and Cast Members do appreciate when you submit Cast Compliments on the
My Disney Experience app. To find Cast Compliments, open the My Disney Experience app and click the three horizontal lines at the bottom right of the screen. Scroll down to “Help & Feedback” where you’ll find “Cast Compliments.” You’ll fill out a form with the location of the character or Cast Member, why you’re sending magic to them, and you can even add their name, hometown, and the date you met them. I have definitely sent Cast Compliments to Minnie Mouse and the Princesses, I just made sure to put the location and date.
You could still bring your sketch book with you and show the characters your artwork, but they won’t be able to keep it. I imagine Rapunzel would especially love to discuss your art, since she spent so long in her tower painting! Maybe you can create a better drawing of Flynn Rider, since they never seemed to get his nose right on his “WANTED” posters. Another idea is to have the characters sign the sketch you’ve drawn of them! This is a unique way to collect character autographs, and you could take the art back home to frame and display.
Will you be visiting during the
EPCOT International Festival of the Arts? This seems like the perfect festival for you! There will be artists sharing their work around EPCOT, performances from Disney on Broadway, and daily opportunities to attend an animator-guided lesson on drawing Disney characters. This festival runs from January 16 to February 23, 2026.
Don’t forget you can see when and where characters are meeting guests within the My Disney Experience app. Click the location pin at the bottom of the screen, and scroll over to “Characters.” Then click “Show List” to see the full list of characters and their meeting locations. If you click on an individual character, it will list their meeting times for that date.
I hope this helps, Victor! Enjoy your upcoming visit to Walt Disney World! If you have any more questions or want help planning your fifth visit, we’d love to help again at
planDisney!
