Is the fourth floor balcony at Disney's Contemporary Resort going to be available for July 4th fireworks viewing?

Hi Michelle! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is almost here. Between the Incredible Summer offerings, the opening of Toy Story Land in Disney's Hollywood Studios AND celebrating Independence Day, you are going to have a magical trip, for sure!

I just spoke with a Cast Member and was informed that the fourth floor balcony of Disney's Contemporary Resort should be open for fireworks viewing on July 4, 2018, but is for Guests of Disney's Contemporary Resort only. As long as you are staying at this Disney Resort hotel, you should be able to access the balcony!

If you are not a Guest at Disney's Contemporary Resort, you can try viewing from outside any of the monorail Disney Resort hotels, with views from Disney's Polynesian Village Resort being my personal favorite! Even viewing from the Transportation and Ticket Center can be a good option if you aren't able to make it to any of these Disney Resort hotels.

I hope you have a great visit, Michelle! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
