Welcome aboard planDisney! That is so exciting that you'll be
embarking on the Disney Wish for a Very Merrytime sailing! A 4-night cruise is the perfect amount of time to pack in some holiday magic, a little pirate mischief, and hopefully a few extra cookies along the way.
Without knowing your exact sail date, your best bet is to check the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app once you board the ship for the final entertainment schedule. However, I know you probably want to have an idea of which outfits need to find their way into your suitcase, so let's talk about some of the patterns Disney typically follows for a 4-night sailing.
If your itinerary includes a stop at Nassau, I would expect that to be your
Pirate Night. If you're skipping Nassau and visiting both of
Disney's island destinations instead, my best guess would be Castaway Cay for Pirate Night and Lookout Cay for Mickey & Minnie's Holiday Party.
There is actually a pretty handy way to get another clue once your
activity booking window opens. Take a look in the Navigator app under My Plans and then the Onboard Fun section. If you see the Pirate-Themed Makeover being offered on a particular day, that's usually a pretty good indication that you're looking at your Pirate Night. It isn't an absolute guarantee, but I've found it to be a useful little piece of the puzzle when I'm trying to figure out the schedule before boarding.
Once you have Pirate Night figured out, it's usually a pretty safe bet that
Mickey & Minnie's Holiday Party will be scheduled for the other port day. That's not always the case, so I would still let the Navigator app have the final say. Also, there is a good chance that this will also be the evening scheduled as the optional dress-up night.
