Hi Jillienne:
My young kids love to spend time at Walt Disney World's playgrounds in-between rides, meals, and attractions.
In the Magic Kingdom, you can check out the toddler-sized playground located near the entrance to Splash Mountain. While small in size, we enjoy this playground because it’s near restrooms and is a quick walk to the nearby Magic Kingdom railroad. After some play time in the playground, our family hops on the train for a loop around the park. There are also play areas on
Tom Sawyer Island.
Remember to check out the playgrounds in the other parks, such as the 11,000-square-foot larger-than-life
Honey, I Shrunk the Kids Movie Set Adventure play area at Disney's Hollywood Studios,
Space Base – an interactive play area for junior space explorers in Mission: SPACE Pavilion in Epcot, and
The Boneyard, a dinosaur-themed playground at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. The Boneyard features a multi-level maze, climbing areas, tunnels, and a large shaded sandbox where kids can dig up fossils.
A number of Resorts also have
playgrounds.
Enjoy your vacation.
