The four of us would like to do the 2 night galaxy cruiser with a 4 person cabin. For the rest of the trip we are open to ideas. we'd like on park accommodations to take advantage of magic hours.

Hiya, Jonathan, and welcome to planDisney! There is a lot to talk about here so hold on to your hat because this answer may be the wildest ride in the wilderness.

October in the Outer Rim while aboard the Halcyon will be out of this world. Be sure to take advantage of everything on the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser. To prepare you for this journey check out the sample itinerary and once you return to Earth it is time for some Mickey Mouse Magic.

The Disney Resort Hotel Collection has four levels with something for everyone. Personally, I recommend staying at a hotel with an excellent location near or with easy access to theme parks. All Walt Disney World Resort hotels have access to Early Theme Park Entry giving you a jump start on your day while only Deluxe and Deluxe Villas have the Extended Evening Hours benefit. Depending on your budget, here are some suggestions at each Resort hotel level.

Check out Value level Disney’s Pop Century Resort with access to Disney Skyliner and between 20-25 minutes of travel time to all four theme parks.

Disney’s Port Orlean’s Resort - French Quarter is "laissez les bons temps rouler" (Let the good time roll) for beignets and riverboats to Disney Springs.

Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club Resorts are my favorite Deluxe Resort hotels to call "home" during my trips. Stormalong Bay pool area with a sand-bottom pool, a lazy river, and the giant Flying Jib shipwreck waterslide make resort days "practically perfect in every way." There are also walkable paths to both Disney's Hollywood Studios and EPCOT.

Finally, deluxe Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort transports you to a Pacific island and is a short Walt Disney World Monorail ride or water launch to Magic Kingdom Park. With beachside views of Cinderella Castle and the Happily Ever After nighttime spectacular, plus DOLE whips dessert readily available on-property, this resort is paradise.

I would like to give you some general planning ideas just in case you hyper-spaced out planning for your Starcruiser adventure.

Please make sure you have downloaded the My Disney Experience mobile app. With the app enabled, you may mobile order food, utilize Merchandise Mobile Check Out at certain locations, use interactive maps, check wait times, and make dining reservations. Also, with the purchase of Disney’s Genie + Service and Individual Lightning Lane entrance through the mobile app, you may reserve
a time to visit qualified attractions and skip the Standby line. I recommend making theme park and dining reservations for each day of your enchanted holiday as soon as possible. Advance dining reservations may be made 60 days in advance. Lastly, get your favorite Halloween costumes ready to treat or treat through Magic Kingdom Park during Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.

planDisney Pro Tip: Be on the lookout for birthday celebrations as Walt Disney World Resort turns 52 on October 1, 2023.

Jonathan, please let me know if I can help you with anything else.

    Enjoy making many Magical Memories.
