I have four tickets already and I’m going to get two more next week, can I go ahead and make my park reservations and add them on later?

    Hi Matthew, welcome to planDisney!

As a teacher, Labor Day weekend is one of my favorite times to visit Walt Disney World Resort because it helps get my school year off to a magical start. I'm a music teacher, so this year I especially can't wait to experience the sights and soundtrack of Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind at EPCOT. This attraction can currently be experienced via a virtual queue or as an Individual Lightning Lane purchase.

Each Guest over the age of three must have valid admission, a theme park reservation for each park day, and a method of entry (MagicBand, MagicBand+, Disney MagicMobile pass, or admission card) for theme park entry. Valid admission must be linked to an individual in My Disney Experience before a theme park reservation can be made. If the four tickets you've already purchased have been linked in My Disney Experience, Matthew, then you can make those individuals' theme park reservations now. Once the two additional tickets have been purchased and linked, you can make theme park reservations for those members of your party. I recommend waiting to make theme park reservations until you have all six tickets linked in My Disney Experience. This ensures you are booking a park that has availability for your entire party. The good news is that the theme park reservation availability calendar currently shows availability for each park every day in September, so you shouldn't have any trouble making theme park reservations next week.

To link a ticket to My Disney Experience using the My Disney Experience mobile app, click the three small lines at the bottom right of the home screen --> "Tickets and Passes" --> "Link Tickets and Passes." Next, enter the ID Code found on the ticket or in your ticket confirmation email and click "Submit." There's also an option in the app to scan a ticket's code. Alternately, you can link your tickets online, which allows you to enter up to 10 ticket ID numbers/codes at once. To complete the linking process, each ticket must be assigned to a member of your Family and Friends list. If a name does not appear on your list, click "Add a Guest" to enter their name and age. Just make sure you click "Invite this Guest to connect" if they already have their own My Disney Experience account.

I hope you find this information helpful, Matthew. We hope to see you and your trip-planning questions at planDisney again real soon.

    Choose magic,
