    I have a four night credit for the Grand Californian. Can I use the credit at a Walt Disney World property?

    Hey there, hi there, ho there, Joe! You’re as welcome as can be to planDisney! 

    I’m so sorry you haven’t been able to use your four-night credit for Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa – I understand just how frustrating this must be! The Grand Californian is my favorite place to stay at the Disneyland Resort! Not only is it super convenient, but it’s also beautiful, both inside and out! Unfortunately, as you already know, the Disneyland Resort Hotels and theme parks are temporarily closed as we await guidance from state and local government. Like you, I am also planning a visit to the Walt Disney World Resort so I can still experience some Disney magic! As for your credit, I spoke with a Cast Member who told me that unfortunately, since the Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort are separate destinations, the credit can’t be used at Walt Disney World Resort. However, she recommended contacting the Walt Disney Travel Company Reservation Center directly at (714) 520-7059. The Reservation Team will be happy to assist you and provide any updates or answer any additional questions you may have. You can reach the Reservation Center seven days a week from 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM Pacific. 

    Even though the Disneyland Resort theme parks and Resort Hotels are currently closed, I’m happy to report that the Resort has begun a phased reopening, and Downtown Disney District is currently open! In addition, starting in November, even more Disney dining and shopping opportunities will be available when Downtown Disney District extends to Buena Vista Street in Disney California Adventure Park! I can’t wait to return to the magic of my happy place, even if we can’t ride our favorite attractions just yet!
