Hello Tara and thank you for asking planDisney such an important question about your family's upcoming visit to
Walt Disney World Resort this June.
All of your 4 young Mouseketeers are going to enjoy such an enchanted time within the realms of the
Magic Kingdom Park, after all, it is the most magical place on earth! There truly is something for everyone, from the young to the still young-at-heart.
Fantasyland is home to the
Seven Dwarfs Mine Train where Guests 97cm or taller are invited to sing
Heigh-ho! as they hop-on-board this family-style coaster. This whimsical ride features some extra magical theming and stars my favourite Disney character, Snow White, and her cherished friends Doc, Grumpy, Happy, Bashful, Sneezy, Sleepy, and of course the ever-lovable Dopey.
As you rightly mention, in line with the current
Walt Disney World Resort Property Rules Guests under the age of 7 yEars old must be accompanied on Attractions by a Guest aged 14 yEars or older. Disney Cast Members are simply
Wild About Safety and I believe the best advice on whether your whole family can board the
Seven Dwarfs Mine Train together should be sought from Cast Members who are in attendance at the Attraction. I suggest that when you first arrive at Seven Dwarfs Mine Train you'll want to be sure to check the height of your smallest Mouseketeer before conferring with the nearest Cast Member who will be only too pleased to advise your family accordingly.
There are so many pixie-dusted
Attractions in the Magic Kingdom Park that are suitable for preschoolers, little kids, and tweens, and here to further help you plan an extra magical Disney day for your family is a
PDF Map of the Magic Kingdom Park. Tara, I hope I've been able to provide a little insight today, and perhaps to reassure you that Guest safety is paramount as we continue to
Return to a World of Magic at Walt Disney World Resort.
Have a great Disney day ~ Jane
