I use a four foot tall walking stick because of balance issues. Will that be allowed in the various parks and transportation?

    Hiya James,

Welcome to planDisney! I hope you are getting excited for your upcoming vacation to Disneyland Resort! All of the Halloween decorations are out, and I’m always amazed by the creativity of Imagineers. Be sure to keep a lookout for all the Hidden Mickeys, and special Fall touches throughout Disneyland and Disney California Adventure Park.

I took a look at the Disneyland Resort Property Rules, and I didn’t see anything that prohibited the use of your walking stick. Disneyland Resort is fantastic, and the Cast Members are committed to accommodating everyone’s needs. So I don’t think you will have a problem bringing in your walking stick. I know that canes sometimes have handles resembling weapons, so I highly recommend doing a quick review of the property rules to ensure that your cane complies with the other guidelines.

I hope this was helpful, James! Don't forget that if you need it, you can rent an Electric Conveyance Vehicle at the Theme Parks. It could come in handy should you want a little extra assistance with those Disney miles. Please come back and see us if you need anything else.

    Happy Planning,

    Ashley F.
