Hey there, hi there, ho there, Bradley! You’re as welcome as can be to planDisney! I always enjoy helping my fellow Californians, so let’s get started!
Like you, I have been mourning the temporary closure of the
Disneyland Resort. I am so sorry you haven’t been able to use your
theme-park tickets yet this year, Bradley! Unfortunately,
your ticket expiration date can’t be extended. However, I do have some good news! Your tickets will retain their value for the amount you initially paid for them. So, once the parks reopen and you’re able to reschedule your visit, you’ll be able to bring your ticket information and have the value applied toward your new ticket purchase. You can also call our Guest Information Ticket Sales and Service Team at (714) 781-4636 and a Cast Member will be happy to help you with any additional questions.
Once the parks reopen, keep in mind that
reservations will be required. I recommend keeping an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog,
Disneyland.com, and the
Disneyland app for all the latest updates and information.
If you’re craving a piece of Disney magic before the parks reopen, I have more good news for you! The Disneyland Resort has begun a phased reopening, and
Downtown Disney District is currently open. In addition,
starting this month, even more Disney dining and shopping opportunities will be available when Downtown Disney District extends to
Buena Vista Street in
Disney California Adventure Park! I can’t wait to return to my happy place, even if we can’t ride any attractions just yet!
I hope this information helps, Bradley! Please stop by with any additional questions… we're all EARs!
