We are four adults (two couples) traveling without children to WDW 5/11/13 - 5/17/13. We chose this week hoping for lighter crowds by avoiding Memorial Day weekend and Star Wars Weekends. Are lighter crowds typical this week of May?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel Andrea!

Planning an adult trip to Disney World can be awesome fun!  While I don't have a crystal ball and can't say with 100% certainty, I think you've picked an excellent week to travel as far as crowd levels go.

Spring break season will be over by the time you travel and most kids in the States will be finishing up their last few weeks of school before summer break. You're smart to avoid the week before and after Memorial Day Weekend. The first day of Star Wars Weekends starts May 17th so you'll be heading out just as that is getting all cranked up.  You will be visiting during the last week of the Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival which ends on May 19, 2013.  Even with that, I don't think you'll run into much of a crowd problem.  Great planning Andrea!

Please feel free to visit with any other questions.  We're hEAR to help!

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-)  Allison
