there are four adults in our room. when using the key to the world for charges in the parks, can you attach a different credit card to each card or is it all together and only one card per room? thanks!

It was  always my understanding that only one credit card can be “attached” to your room account in order to secure your resort charging privileges. However, I  recently have heard of guests managing it differently using a procedure called a “share”. Many Front Desk cast members do not know how to initiate this procedure so you will need to ask for assistance of a manager.

I would also suggest this way of using your Key to the World cards on one room account:

Stop at the Front Desk at any time to receive a folio (print-out) of your room account. Each adult would then be able to total their purchases and pay the account as they wish via credit, debit (MC/Visa), traveler’s checks, Disney Dollars and cash. The folio will show which room key was used for each purchase.

When you check into your resort, you’ll be instructed as to the total amount of charges that you can place on your Room Account before the charges are put on your credit card. You would want to submit payment prior to reaching your Room Account limit to avoid having the full balance placed on the authorized credit card. The limit is dependent on your resort. Value resorts are $500, moderates are $1000 and deluxe resorts have a limit of $1500. Once you settle the bill, you’ll be able to resume using your room account (Key to the World card) until you reach the limit again.

Also, you would not have to leave a credit card. You can secure your Room Account limit with cash as well.
