Hi Again, Loretta!
Smart thinking for checking the weather before you leave for your Walt Disney World Resort vacation. On my trip a week ago, we had two rainy days but it wasn't all day. Definitely pack a rain jacket, umbrella and any stroller cover that you might need. But if you forget anything, we found ponchos were well stocked and readily available from every shop and kiosk. A bonus about rain days is that the parks kind of clear out from those who don't want to stay. Magic Kingdom Park will send out the Rainy Day Cavalcade instead of the regular 3:00 P.M. parade. And my group happened to catch the Kilimanjaro Safari at Disney's Animal Kingdom right as the rain poured down, and honestly it was one of the best safaris I've ever been on. The vehicles' large cover kept us dry and the animals were so lively and playful in the rain! I'll cross my fingers that you have the same kind of luck.
Disney's outdoor
PhotoPass Photographers who take pictures of outdoor characters and park icons like the Tree of Life or Cinderella Castle will stay outside if the weather is drizzly. However they will need to move inside for any heavier precipitation or when lightening is present. Weather will not affect any
indoor meet and greets (like meeting Anna and Elsa in the Norway pavilion of Epcot's World Showcase) nor will it prevent you from saving any attraction photos or videos. So keep working on your silly smiles for Space Mountain and your ridiculous Rock 'N' Roller Coaster face. You'll even find
PhotoPass Studios complete with props and backdrops that are included in your Memory Maker Package.
I hope this helped, and We'll See You Real Soon, Loretta!
