Hello Michelle,
Thank you for coming to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I am happy to answer your dining question. Dining at Walt Disney World is one of my favorite things about our magical vacations. There is so much variety and options that there is always somewhere new to try while still getting some of our favorites.
Speaking of favorites, I am sorry to say that the pulled beef pita sandwich is no longer offered anywhere that I am aware of. You are correct in that
Tamu Tamu Refreshments is now a dessert only menu. However, if you get the chance, I highly recommend their chocolate waffle. I had one just a few weeks ago while at Disney's Animal Kingdom, and it was scrumptious! My mouth is watering just thinking about it.
I will offer a few menu options at different locations that might hit the spot as an alternative to this favorite menu item of yours. Over at
The Smiling Crocodile in Discovery Island, they offer Smoked Cheddar Grits which are served with pulled pork. It sounds delicious as I am a huge cheddar grits fan, being from Texas. Another possible option could be the pulled pork sandwiches at
Flame Tree Barbecue, also in Discovery Island. Lastly, the all-beef gyro flatbread at
Harambe Market is really filling and delicious. I had this once and was quite delighted.
I hope these recommendations give you something to consider. Have a WILDly fantastic time.
