Hi Pat,
Welcome to planDisney and thank you so much for asking us a question! I just came back from a quick cruise aboard the beautiful
Disney Wish and I can tell you that you’re in for an amazing vacation.
If you navigate over to the “
My Reservations” section of the Disney Cruise Line website, you should be able to find your reservation on that page. Beside the tile that tells you which stateroom you’ll be in, you’ll see that there’s a “Dining” tile, which likely tells you that you’ve been assigned the Second Seating for that cruise. If you don’t see a “Change Seating” option, then that means that the first seating is unfortunately full for now.
That doesn’t mean, however, that you won’t be able to eat dinner at the Main Seating time. Keep checking back before your cruise to see whether main dining becomes available. If it doesn’t, you will absolutely have a chance to switch your seating, availability permitting, once you board the ship. Just head to Guest Services and they’ll be able to direct you towards the location where the dining crew will be meeting Guests who want to make changes to their dining rotation.
I’d also highly recommend that you tell Disney about your
Special Dietary Request at least 60 days before your sailing. You can also fill in the Special Requests form for your sailing to inform Disney Cruise Line of your dietary restrictions as this may help give them a “heads up” that you’ll need to make a change once you board. You can also
email Disney Cruise Line for assistance.
I hope my answer helps ensure that you’ve got nothing but smooth sailing for your vacation. Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions.
Have a Magical Day,
Lynne
