I have found many posts about things to do with girls, but I am wondering what are some must see events and attractions that boys would like. It is their first time to Disney and at ages 6 and 9 i want to make it an unforgettable experience for them.

Hi Darci! Great question!  Being a grandmother of two boys I have been asking Disney the same thing for the past few years and lately I think they are listening to us!

The pirate theme is a great way to engage your boys in some fun during your vacation.  I just took my 3 year old grandson to the Pirate League makeover at the Magic Kingdom and it is extremely well done.  This is similar to the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique that has been very popular with the little girls.  You can choose from several packages and they will engage the boys in a real pirate experience and turn them into one complete with a new name before they leave. Please click HERE to read more about this fun time for your boys.

Another great pirate experience is the Pirates and Pals Fireworks cruises held several nights a week. Click HERE to read more about this fun evening and to call for reservations.  My grandson loved this and its a great way to see the Magic Kingdom fireworks from the best seat out there.....the water!

If you are early risers consider a fishing excursion from one of many resorts.  The boys will have a blast pulling in the big bass that are caught on the lakes of Disney.  The guide will bait the hook and remove the fish and all that is left is the fun of catching them.  You can make reservations and get more information about times by calling 407-939-7529.
