Hey There, Hi There, Ho There, Stewart!
Welcome to planDisney! We are DELIGHTED you stopped by and are honored to help answer your very exciting question! I first want to say what an absolutely MAGICAL discovery you have made! Finding old Disney World tickets tucked away in a wallet feels like uncovering a hidden treasure chest filled with pure nostalgia and pixie dust. This is the most incredible story because not everyone gets to stumble upon a little piece of Disney history.
Even better, there is a very real chance these vintage tickets still hold some enchantment. Back in 1999, Disney sold certain non-expiring tickets, which means any unused park days on them can still be used today. Please note that even if the passes are partially used, any remaining days are typically still locked to the original guest; therefore, if there are days left, the same person who used them previously will need to use them again. To find out exactly what remains, simply bring the tickets to
Guest Relations at any Disney World theme park or at
Disney Springs. A Cast Member will scan them, tell you how many entitlements are left, and confirm whether they fall under the old non-expiring category. They can even convert them into modern digital tickets linked to your
My Disney Experience account, allowing you to use them just like
today’s tickets. These little treasures might be worth more than you ever expected and could add an extra bit of awesomeness to your next Disney adventure.
Oh, I am wishing upon a star that these tickets are still valid! As you continue to plan, be sure to check the
Disney Parks Blog for the most up-to-date information on all things Disney. Mickey and his pals have some exciting surprises planned, and we don't want you to miss any of the fun!
If you have other questions, please don't hesitate to ask. We are here to help in any way!
Have a MAGICAL day!
