I found an old post stating that MM photographers didn't take photos inside the restaurant. Is this true? If so, at the character dining is a character always with the photographer? If so, how bad are those lines?

    Hi again Holly,

I’m so happy to see that you’ve asked us another question!

The answer to your question is yes… and no. There are Disney PhotoPass photographers at select Disney dining locations throughout Walt Disney World Resort. They’re usually stationed at the front of the restaurant, and you can choose to take a picture either before your meal or afterwards. That means that, if the lineup is too long when you arrive to start your meal, you can absolutely wait until after you’ve finished eating to get your party’s pictures taken. Based on my experience, however, you shouldn’t have to wait more than a few minutes to get your picture taken, in either case.

If you’re dining at a character dining location, however, there typically aren’t any Disney PhotoPass photographers with the characters as they greet Guests inside the restaurant. You’ll need to take those pictures with your own camera.

I hope that my answer will help you plan some delicious and memorable dining experiences during your upcoming visit to Walt Disney World Resort. As always, please don’t hesitate to come back and visit us if you have any other questions.

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
