Just found out that Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party is not included in the Magic Your Way pass!! Is it worth the extra money? I have a 6 year old princess & a 2 year old special needs son. Please Help!!

Hi, Rachel!  Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party is indeed a separately ticketed event, and my family has always enjoyed it so much, we always spend the extra money.  To start with, the party offers the opportunity to explore the Magic Kingdom with typically lighter crowds than you'll find during the day (although it can feel quite busy on certain nights, especially Halloween).  For us, it's a great opportunity to do some of the attractions that we might not want to wait as long for during the day.

My girls also love, love, love the trick or treating!  It's so cool for them to dress up in their favorite costumes and head into the Magic Kingdom for trick or treat.  We often end up with more treats from a tour of the Magic Kingdom than we do on Halloween in our own neighborhood.

You'll also have the ability to enjoy some things you won't have access to during a regular visit to the Magic Kingdom.  A special Hallowishes fireworks display will be a highlight of the evening, and the Halloween themed parade takes place twice, kicked off each time by the ride of the Headless Horseman.  There are also some Halloween dance parties, where the kids have a chance to dance with some of the characters.  My kids love that!

So for our family, it is definitely worth the extra price - and it also gives us a chance to maybe spend more time in one of the other parks.  You'll have to weigh your family's priorities, but it's great fun and a must do for my gang!
