Hi there Emily, and welcome to
planDisney!
Shiver me timbers! You've discovered some buried treasure that would make Captain Jack Sparrow jealous. It sounds like your husband has old
theme park admission that includes the no-expiration and the water park fun & more options. My family and I have similar tickets in our treasure trove that we like to use for short trips, and I'm happy to share some information about the fun visits.
Good news! As long as your husband's ticket has not expired, any unused "fun visits" are still valid today. I have a 10-day ticket with four remaining theme park admissions and six fun visits. Even when I've exhausted all theme park visits, I can still use that ticket to enjoy the
Walt Disney World Water Parks or other eligible experiences. A fun visit could be a one-day admission to a water park, a one-day admission to the
ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex, or one round of 9 holes at
Disney's Oak Trail Golf Course.
I hope this is helpful, Emily! My family loves to make a splash at the Walt Disney World Water Parks, and we were thrilled to hear
Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park will open in time for our late-March spring break vacation. If you haven't surfed the waves here in a while, make it one of your fun visits! We like to schedule a relaxing day here followed by dinner nearby at
Disney Springs between theme park days. Showers are available in the locker rooms if you want to get cleaned up after sliding the day away.
Quick tip: if you're a Guest of a hotel in the
Disney Resorts Collection, you don't need to pack towels! Scan your
MagicBand or room key at the towel rental area and receive complimentary towels for your party during your water park visit.
Best wishes for future visits filled with fun, Emily! Thanks for sending your question to planDisney, and feel free to come see us again if there's anything else we can do to help. We're all ears!
Have a magical day,
Betsy
