    We just found out my husband's conference is in Orlando so we've decided to do a quick weekend trip with our boys, 8, 6, 3. Went to MK last year with the older two but want to do something special. Would you recommend a character lunch or something else?

    How exciting!  I love tagging along with my husband when his work takes him to fun places.  

    A character meal is a great special experience that I'm sure your children will love.  My favorite is Chef Mickey's because I love the classic characters, but they only serve breakfast and dinner.  Advance reservations are recommended for all character dining by calling (407) WDW-DINE.

    I'd love to suggest the Pirates and Pals Fireworks Voyage.  This cruise is so much fun, especially for boys your age.  Included is a special meet and greet with Captain Hook and Smee, delicious snacks and drinks, and then a fun-filled sailing out on the Seven Seas Lagoon where you will stop and watch Wishes from your boat.  My 3 year old LOVED this when we did it last year and we'll be doing it again in a couple of weeks.  It's definitely a fun and super special treat!
