Hi Crystal,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and conGRADulations to your Mouseketeer! I can't think of a better place than Walt Disney World Resort to celebrate life's milestones, and I know your family is going to have the most magical time.
I just got back from Walt Disney World, and saw the cutest
graduation-themed Minnie Mouse ear headbands available for purchase in several gift shops. How cute would it be to pick up a pair of these and have your daughter pose with her
favorite characters in them? Back at home, you could make a graduation scrapbook or create a shadow box with the ears and some of her favorite pictures.
Taking this idea a little further, have you heard about the
Disney PhotoPass Service Studio in Disney Springs? You could take your daughter over there for a graduation photo shoot – the photo session is included if you purchase
Memory Maker (which I highly recommend), and there are lots of backdrops and props to choose from. They may even sell some graduation-specific photo accessories. After the photo shoot, stop by
Sprinkles or
Goofy's Candy Company for some kid-tastic sweet treats to celebrate.
Crystal, I bet you could find a quiet, pretty space around your resort hotel to play "Pomp and Circumstance" on your phone and have her do a little parade in a celebration dress and graduation hat or Minnie ears. This could make for a really cute video that she could show her preschool teachers and friends when you get back!
The
Perfectly Princess Tea at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa would be an elegant and special celebration for your graduate. I shared tea with my daughter recently, and she loved feeling grown up and sharing that together time. It made for a lovely memory.
Don't forget to
pick up a celebration button from Guest Relations or your resort hotel's front desk. This way, your fellow Guests and Cast Members can congratulate your little one on her big achievement all throughout your stay. ChEARS to your grad!
Wishing you a magical vacation,
Robyn
