    Hi :] I have found where we can customize magic bands with color & name. There is also a link to The Disney Store with design options. The designer bands are more expensive than those that I think come with our reservation. Can we upgrade? Thanks!

    Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us another question!

    For now, the MagicBands that you'll receive prior to your stay at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel are the solid colour ones, and not the "character" MagicBands that are for sale at various merchandise locations. I just logged in to My Disney Experience, and the only options that seem to be available as of right now are the solid colours (except for purple): yellow, blue, pink, red, orange, grey and green. There doesn’t seem to be a way to “upgrade” to other styles of MagicBands, for now. 

    That being said, even though I love my Minnie Polka Dot MagicBand and I use it as my primaryMagicBand, I still personalize my family’s MagicBands prior to each visit to Walt Disney World Resort. "Character" MagicBands can't get personalized with your name underneath the band, although several cool personalized designs are available at various merchandise locations. Choosing the name to put underneath my MagicBand is probably one of my favourite "pre-arrival" parts of each visit to Walt Disney World Resort - Don't be afraid to be creative!
