I just found a bunch of pins that I had in an old box. They are all from the Countdown to the Millennium series that was out in 1999. I am taking my two girls (7 &5) to WDW for the first time in June. Can I use these pins to help get them started?

    Hi Shannon!

You can most certainly use those pins to trade!  I have the same set of pins.  My favorite is the Ichabod and Mr. Toad pin. The only thing I would advise you to do is to check out sites like Ebay to see if any of the pins are considered collectors items/valuable.  You may not want to trade those away.

If after your research you find you'd like to hold onto those pins, you can purchase starter Pin Trading sets at the parks or online.  I purchased a starter kit for my daughter on our last visit.  She liked being able to pick out which set she wanted to start with (princess, of course).

Either way, your children are going to have a blast pin trading around Walt Disney World!  Please let me know if there's anything else I can do to make your vacation "practically perfect in every way".

    Have a magical day!
