Hiya, Mariann!
"
Oh, bother." Don’t they know that a visit to the Disneyland Resort needs to be protected from meetings, work, and other less-important things? Oh well. Even though we
never grow up at the Disneyland Resort, sometimes life must go on, I suppose.
Disneyland Resort security Cast Members do a great job keeping everyone safe. This includes inspecting all backpacks, bags, and other items we bring with us to the Disneyland Resort. They always have the final say for what may or may not be taken into the theme park areas of the resort. That said, laptops are not on the
list of items not permitted in the parks. So your laptop should be just fine to take with you. In my experience, I have always been allowed to keep my laptop or large tablet with me when I’ve needed to take them along while visiting the Disneyland Resort.
Tony’s Tip: If you are looking for a quiet place to join your meeting, I’ve got a few ideas that may work for you. If you are in
Disney California Adventure Park, the space behind the Hyperion Theater usually doesn’t see much traffic. Or you can slip out through the park entrance from Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, where you will find quiet places in the monorail courtyard or on some of the upper floors overlooking the hotel lobby. In Disneyland Park, the back seating areas of the Hungry Bear are nice during off-peak dining hours. There are sometimes seats available on the shores of the
Rivers of America across from
Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. My favorite quiet place is under the monorail track behind
Edelweiss Snacks.
With or without a meeting to attend, I hope you have a great time at the Disneyland Resort, Mariann. If you need a break from your laptop, remember that there are
lockers available to rent.
Have a magical time!
