Hi, there!
Welcome to planDisney, Adrienne. I'm so glad you stopped by! We'd love to help you plan your trip to the
Disneyland Resort.
The Disneyland Resort is committed to making sure that all Guests have a safe, accessible, and magical visit to the theme parks. While wagons and stroller wagons are not permitted for pixie-dusted adventures, there are some instances in which they can be tagged as a wheelchair. At this time, that determination can only be made in person. When you arrive at the Disneyland Resort, you'll need to stop by
Guest Relations to chat with a Cast Member about your foster son's unique needs.
In the meantime, I encourage you to check out the
Services for Guests with Cognitive Disabilities page on the Disneyland Resort website. There's lots of helpful information there, including descriptions of available services and accommodations. You'll even find tips on how to best prepare for your visit! If your foster son has difficulty waiting in a traditional queue environment due to his special needs, he may qualify for
Disability Access Service. Guests can now pre-register for DAS up to 30-days in advance (and no less than 2-days in advance) of their visit to the theme parks.
I hope this was helpful, Adrienne. Please let us know if you have any other questions about your Disney vacation!
