Welcome BACK, William!
Oh Boy! Thank you so much for continuing to ask your great Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning questions to us hEAR at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I'm a Disneyland Resort AP holder, so I know exactly what you're talking about, William. While Esmeralda the Fortune Teller and Fortune Red are strictly only a 'thing' in Walt's original theme park, I've got plenty of other digital and real-life Walt Disney World Resort bonus fun tips for you!
Just like at Disneyland Resort, your Play Disney Parks App will help your party bust line boredom with all kinds of mini-games and trivia. Also, if you or anyone in your family is a fan of pressed pennies or pin trading, you'll be happy to see these traditions continue at Mickey's Florida house. You can even find the exact location of coin presses in your My Disney Experience App. (When you open the app, click the search icon next to the blue plus sign and type in 'Coin Press Machines'.)
In lieu of free fortunes, how about some other sources of 'World-only complimentary Disney fun?
~ Transportation Cards: Ask the driver or even the loading crew of any and every Disney Resort Bus, Monorail, Boat, even the Parking Lot Tram, that you use if they have a transportation card on them.
~ Turn your time in Magic Kingdom Park into a quest by playing Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom. Each person playing can request more cards each day you enter this park. And if you happen to visit during a separately ticketed event like Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, there might even be a limited edition, event-only card!
~ There's a second game afoot in Magic Kingdom Park, this one more swashbuckling and all interactive. Definitely check out A Pirate's Adventure ~ Treasure of the Seven Seas.
~ Your group can join Russell from 'Up' in becoming Wilderness Explorers at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park.
~ Some of my favorite activities at EPCOT are the Kidcot Fun Stops. Not only can you collect a small souvinEAR from each location, cultural representatives from the home country of each World Showcase Pavilion are set up at these stations. It's fun to ask them about where they're from, and sometimes they'll even write my name or a special message in their native language.
~ If you're visiting during an EPCOT Festival, be sure to grab a Festival Booklet as there are usually checklists to collect stamps from each outdoor kitchen.
~ And also debuting soon at EPCOT is the brand new Disney's DuckTales World Showcase Adventure.
I hope this list helped to pack some extra pixie dust into your upcoming Disney Days, William, and We'll See You Real Soon!
